Artists Retreats - here and abroad

Millhouse is involved in organising retreats both here and abroad.

Retreats at the Millhouse are three days in length with meals during the day provided. Accomodation can be sourced from our list of local B’nB’s that we recommend or found by oneself. Classes go from 10.00am - 4.00pm with coffe and tea breaks and lunch during the day. Some courses remain on site and others go further afield to local sites of interest. The Retreats are under the guidance of Heather Ford and cover painting and drawing.

Logis de Canteau, Art retreat in the region of Bordeaux.

Retreats currently feature in both Somerset and in France. In Somerset the Courses take place in the quiet Millhouse Studio where there is open outdoor space, large indoor studio space and a building full of character with cafe and gallery. Accomodation ban be sourced independently or by inclusion as part of the course locally at Ashford Mill where occasional courses are also held.

Retreats in France are at Logis De Canteau (see website logisdecanteau.com ) where Tess and Jon are the perfect hosts in their magnificent french lodge house.
